Insightful Stories, Incredible Women

Career inspiration is all around us! The members of NWIIWA, Influential Women alumna and women in leadership across the country are filled with incredible stories that you should hear. And now, those stories have a new way to reach and inspire listeners.

Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch will be our next featured guest on March 10th.

In this FREE web series, an accomplished guest will be sharing lessons intended to help other professionals empower their careers. There will also be a question-and-answer session following the presentations where speakers will discuss real-world barriers and other issues they have encountered in the workplace.

Lt. Governor Crouch has served in several Indiana public roles throughout her career, including as the state’s auditor and as a state representative. Today, she oversees a broad portfolio of state agencies, including:

• Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA)
• Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA)
• Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA)
• Office of Tourism Development (IOTD)

In addition, she also serves as President of the Indiana Senate and chairman of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Task Force.

Throughout her years of public service, Crouch has been focused and committed to programs and services for people with disabilities. She was honored to receive the 2012 Public Policy Award from the Arc of Indiana for her work with people with disabilities and was named Legislator of the Year in 2011 by the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities.
