The NWIIWA Ambassador Committee is a vibrant group of women committed to helping fellow members feel seen, supported, and connected. Ambassadors serve as the heart of our organization—building relationships, strengthening retention, and championing the mission of NWIIWA at every opportunity.
What Our Ambassadors Do
Member Retention & Relationship Building
- Check in regularly with members—especially those who haven’t been active lately.
- Encourage members to attend events, join committees, or take advantage of resources.
- Share member feedback with NWIIWA leadership to continually improve experiences.
Welcome & Engage New & Returning Members
- Reach out to new and prospective members with a warm welcome.
- Help them navigate membership benefits, events, and programming.
- Invite them to upcoming events and introduce them to other members.
- Be their first friend in the room, making their experience with NWIIWA memorable from day one.
Support NWIIWA Events
- Volunteer as event ambassadors by helping at events—when available.
- Help spark conversation and facilitate networking at events.
- Represent NWIIWA’s values through warm, welcoming presence.

Committee Commitment
- 4–6 meetings virtually
- Volunteer at events when available
- Communication with members
- Approximately 1-2 hours per month
